Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic small dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Position is for two days a week Monday and Weds from 9 A.M to 6 P.M Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques. Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring proper medical imaging protocols are followed. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using software such as Open dental & Dexis Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care to promote overall dental health. Manage inventory of dental supplies, ensuring all materials are stocked and organized. Intra Oral Scanning through Dandy Experience Previous experience in a dental clinic or as a dental assistant is preferred. Proficiency in dental assisting techniques for general dentistry practice. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and safety protocols in a clinical setting.
