Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) We're Hiring!!! A workplace where your voice matters Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly according to dental sterilization procedures and infection prevention management standards. Assist dentist chairside during a variety of procedures such as oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry - providing four-handed dentistry support for efficiency and patient comfort. Take x-rays and medical imaging using advanced equipment like 3D scanners (Dexis)while adhering to HIPAA regulations and radiation safety protocols. Manage patient records accurately using patient management software (Dentrix), ensuring all patient records are up-to-date and compliant with clinical policies. Conduct vital signs assessments and document medical history updates to support comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care instructions, and explain dental terminology clearly to foster understanding and compliance. Support other team members in various areas of the office to ensure ideal patient flow. Experience Required Current RDA licensure Hands-on knowledge of dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, dental instrument processing, infection control protocols, etc. Experience operating dental equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other clinical tools with precision. Strong understanding of healthcare infection prevention and control standards including HIPAA compliance. Familiarity with Dentrix Ability to handle various ages of patients with patience and professionalism. Excellent communication skills Team player - willing to jump in wherever needed A positive attitude!
