Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Dallas, TX
Overview We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various dental procedures and provide support to both the dentist and patients. Duties - Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures - Set up and prepare equipment for dental procedures - Take and develop dental x-rays - Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment - Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures - Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies - Maintain accurate patient records Experience Required Skills: - Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control - Experience with Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar dental software - Familiarity with assisting in endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and general dentistry Nice-to-Have Skills: - Previous experience in pediatric dentistry - Proficiency in Dental Assisting techniques If you are a dedicated Dental Assistant looking to contribute to a positive dental experience for patients, we welcome you to apply for this position.
