Job Description

We're looking for a reliable and friendly Dental Assistant to join our team. Our ideal candidate shows up on time, works well with others, and genuinely cares about making patients feel comfortable. If you're dependable, personable, and take pride in your work, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet patients, helping them feel comfortable from the moment they arrive
• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort throughout
• Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed for procedures
• Sterilize instruments according to regulatory standards
• Assist the dentist through four-handed dentistry
• Complete lab tasks as instructed
• Provide patients with oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Schedule appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures

What We're Looking For

• Reliable — shows up consistently and can be counted on
• Friendly — puts patients at ease and works well as part of a team
• At least 1 year of experience as a dental assistant (required)
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing (a plus)
• Good computer skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Well-organized

Education & Certification

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred); dental assistant school graduate a plus
• Additional certification or training is a plus (e.g., EFDA)
• X-Ray Certification (required)

Experience

• Dental Assisting: 1 year (required)
