Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Olympia, WA
Capital City Smiles is looking for a dental assistant to join our team. We're a general dentistry practice in Olympia focused on treating patients like people, not appointments â and we're looking for someone who brings that same energy chairside every day. You're a good fit if you're: Friendly and outgoing â you make patients feel comfortable, not just processed Dependable â you show up, follow through, and we can count on you Efficient â you keep the office running smoothly, no wasted time or wasted steps What you'll do: Assist chairside during exams, cleanings, and procedures Prep and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms Take and process digital X-rays Help patients feel at ease before and during appointments Keep supplies stocked and rooms turned over quickly between patients What we're looking for: Dental assistant certification (or equivalent experience) â WA state requirements apply X-ray certification preferred Comfortable with digital systems (we use Dentrix and DTX Studio) A team player with a positive attitude Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Paid sick time Paid time off Retirement plan Work Location: In person
