Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Festus, MO
Festus Smile Center is looking for an experienced dental assistant who is also open to floating to the front desk to take calls/confirm appointments one day a week to join our growing team full-time (other three days will be chairside and in sterilization). We are a busy, modern dental practice that takes pride in providing excellent patient care while creating a positive, team-oriented work environment. We are looking for someone who is confident in their assisting skills, enjoys working with people, and wants to be part of a practice where teamwork and providing a great patient experience truly matter. We have all of the modern technology including CBCT, Digital x-rays, CEREC to make same day restorations, and other tech! We are a practice that has a good portion of our patients that are Fee-for-service so our patient experience is important to our culture here. Must have an easy going and friendly personality with great work ethic to help make patients feel comfortable. What Weâre Looking For: Our ideal candidate is an experienced dental assistant who is: Friendly, positive, and comfortable interacting with patients Dependable and able to work well as part of a team Organized and able to stay on top of a busy schedule Confident assisting with a variety of dental procedures Comfortable taking digital X-rays Knowledgeable about sterilization and infection-control protocols Willing to jump in and help wherever needed Focused on providing an excellent patient experience Responsibilities Assist dentists during restorative and other dental procedures Help Front desk with calls one day a week Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials Take digital radiographs Review procedures and post-op instructions with patients Maintain accurate clinical documentation Follow sterilization and infection-control protocols Keep operatories stocked, organized, and ready for patients Help maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the day Work closely with our doctors, hygienists, assistants, and front-office team Schedule This is a full-time position working: M-Th 8am - 5pm with one hour lunch.
