Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms for a wide variety of procedures Assist doctors during restorative, surgical, implant, cosmetic, and prosthodontic procedures Maintain excellent infection control and sterilization standards Capture high-quality digital radiographs and clinical photographs Take digital impressions and assist with modern dental technology Prepare and organize instruments, materials, and laboratory cases Ensure treatment rooms remain clean, organized, and fully stocked Help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit Educate patients on recommended treatment and home care when appropriate Maintain accurate clinical documentation Work closely with doctors and teammates to provide a seamless patient experience Participate in continuing education and team development Contribute ideas that improve patient care, efficiency, and office systems The Ideal Candidate You are someone who: Genuinely enjoys caring for people Loves working as part of a collaborative team Takes pride in staying organized and prepared Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic Takes initiative without waiting to be asked Values professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement Communicates confidently and compassionately with patients Wants to continue learning and expanding your clinical skills Is interested in leadership opportunities and long-term career growth Wants to be rewarded for helping patients and contributing to the success of the practice Qualifications Dental Assisting experience preferred Maryland Dental Radiation Health and Safety certification (or ability to obtain) Current CPR certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail A positive attitude and willingness to learn Expanded Functions certification is a plus but not required Experience is welcomed, but we value attitude, coachability, and cultural fit just as much as experience.
