*LOCATED IN THE SILVERADO RANCH AREA (border of Las Vegas & Henderson, South of the Airport)* Job Title: Registered Dental Assistant Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Registered Dental Assistant to join our team in the 89123 ZIP CODE, Silverado Ranch area . OFFICE HOURS: 9AM-6PM, LUNCH 1-2PM. We work M-TH or TU-F (alternating the Mondays or Fridays off). The ideal candidate will support the dentist by providing exceptional clinical assistance, ensuring smooth office operations, and delivering a friendly, welcoming experience for our patients. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will help improve patient comfort and care, while your organizational abilities will contribute to an efficient workflow. The role requires a professional who can follow protocols accurately, assist with various dental procedures, and maintain a clean, well-stocked environment. Responsibilities/Qualifications: Welcome patients into the dental office Prepare patients for dental treatment or checkups, ensuring patient comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed Sterilize instruments according to infection control regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks, as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Help to schedule follow-up appointments Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures Minimum of 3-5+ years experience as a lead dental assistant or experienced RDA Knowledge of dental instruments and proper sterilization methods Understanding of all dental health & safety regulations Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks, like coronal polishing is a plus Must be able to take clinically readable non-overlapping radiographs Excellent computer skills, using Eaglesoft dental software, is a major plus Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail and dental terminology required Well-organized, available for all scheduled work days, and reliable Experience with scanning & digital impressions: iTero, CEREC, crown & denture assisting is necessary! CBCT and sleep training experience are preferred High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred Additional certification or training such as EFDA or CPR is an asset!
