Location: Brighton Dental, San Diego, CA Schedule: Full-time | Mon thru Wed 7:45AM-4PM & Thurs 7:45AM-3PM Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dental team in an upscale, high tech boutique style practice. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient care while supporting the dentist and clinical team in a fast-paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments. Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures. Welcome and prepare patients for treatment while ensuring their comfort. Take and process digital dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations. Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment following infection control protocols. Record accurate patient information and treatment notes in the electronic dental record. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. Manage dental materials and clinical inventory. Cross trained in front office scheduling and answering phones, no mandatory Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment. Collaborate with the dental team to provide efficient, high-quality patient care. Qualifications Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in good standing. Current CPR/BLS certification. Knowledge of infection control and OSHA guidelines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment. Experience with digital radiography and Dentrix is preferred. Work Schedule Position Type: Full Time Schedule: Monday-Wednesday 7:45AM-4PM & Thursday 7:45AM-3PM Occasional schedule flexibility may be required based on patient needs.
