Job Summary UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY. We are a small family business focused on quality dental care. Our dental team has been with our office more than a decade and we need a Registered Dental Hygienist to become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral health care! In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, educate patients on maintaining healthy smiles, and perform scaling/root planning. Your expertise will help foster a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. We are committed to empowering our hygienists with the tools and support needed to excel and grow professionally. We are looking for a dental hygienist for the next 10-20 years. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and reviewing medical records to ensure safe treatment plans Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dietary advice, and preventive care strategies Assist with chairside procedures such as applying sealants, fluoride treatments, and assisting during pediatric dentistry procedures Utilize dental software systems like Eaglesoft for accurate documentation review and record keeping Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and compliance with HIPAA regulations Take and interpret dental imaging (X-rays) while ensuring patient comfort and safety Requirements Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations Proven experience in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, or dental clinic environments with familiarity in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical coding standards Excellent patient care skills Competence in dental imaging procedures Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical terminology for accurate documentation review Prior experience with dental office software such as Eaglesoft highly preferred Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a difference every day!
