Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Associate General Dentist to join our team. Duties Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including with precision and professionalism. Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose oral health conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs. Utilize advanced dental software for accurate medical documentation and record keeping in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Collaborate with specialists in orthodontics and periodontics to coordinate comprehensive patient care when necessary. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment options, and post-procedure care to foster informed decision-making. Maintain proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques to ensure accurate diagnosis and documentation. Adhere to all healthcare diagnosis standards while ensuring patient safety through infection control practices and proper use of local anesthesia during procedures. Manage dental fabrication processes including crowns, bridges, and other prosthetic devices with attention to detail. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry practices through ongoing education and professional development. Qualifications DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an accredited institution required. Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA registration and MCSR certification. Proven experience in general dentistry within a clinical or dental office setting preferred; familiarity with dental office software is essential. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control protocols. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and compassionately. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws ensuring compliance at all times. Ability to work efficiently within a team environment while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
