Job Title: Dental Hygiene Assistant Location: Houghton Lake, MI About Us: We are a busy, multi-doctor private dental practice dedicated to providing high-quality care in a friendly, professional environment. We are looking for a motivated team player to join us as a Dental Hygiene Assistant Position Overview: This role is essential in supporting our clinical team and creating a positive patient experience. The right candidate will be adaptable, eager to learn, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Seat patients and prepare them for dental exams and hygiene appointments Assist hygienists and doctors with exams and charting as needed Take diagnostic dental radiographs (x-rays) Clean, disinfect, and reset treatment rooms between patients Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment following infection control protocols Support the team with additional clinical and sterilization tasks as assigned Qualifications: Previous dental knowledge preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety/sterilization protocols Friendly, professional, and welcoming personality to be able to interact with a variety of patients.
