OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, adhering to infection control protocols. Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, using dental software such OpenDental Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Ensure the dental operatory is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in a friendly environment. Skills Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques. Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques. Knowledge of medical imaging processes and medical terminology. Ability to work effectively with pediatric patients, demonstrating patience and empathy. Solid understanding of anatomy related to dental procedures. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
