**Job Overview:** We are a high end, very comfortable family dental practice in West San Jose, seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality oral care and hygiene services to our patients, contributing to their overall dental health and well-being. **Duties:** - Perform dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures under the supervision of a licensed dentist. - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive dental care. - Take and develop dental x-rays. - Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans. - Administer local anesthetics as directed by the dentist. - Conduct initial patient screenings and assessments. **Qualifications:** - Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. - State licensure as a Dental Hygienist. - Proficiency in infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. - Knowledge of dental assisting, dental office procedures, Dentrix. - Strong anatomy knowledge for oral health assessment. - Familiarity with medical records management in a dental setting.
