Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive oral hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling/root planing. Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos as needed. Assess patient oral health, perform periodontal screenings, and document medical/dental histories accurately. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and personalized home care routines. Collaborate closely with dentists to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Maintain strict adherence to OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA guidelines for infection control and safety. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree). Licensure: Active State Dental Hygienist License in good standing. Certifications: Current CPR / BLS Certification; Local Anesthesia / Nitrous Oxide certification preferred. Experience: New graduates welcome to apply!
