We are seeking a motivated, high-energy team member with a passion for modern digital dentistry. Whether you have a background in core assisting, digital technology, or specialized practice workflows, this is a unique opportunity to combine tech-focused clinical scanning with front desk operations while helping transform patients’ lives through life-changing treatment. In this cross-trained role, your primary clinical task will be capturing high-quality digital scans using our Medit intraoral scanner. No traditional chairside assisting or surgical procedures are required. You will balance your time between scanning patients and maintaining a warm, efficient front office environment. Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality 3D digital intraoral scans on patients using a Medit scanner. Manage scan data, upload files to lab portals, and track digital impressions. Turn over scanning areas, sanitize equipment, and maintain infection control standards. Greet patients upon arrival, manage check-in and check-out, and maintain a seamless front-office flow. Answer phones, schedule patient appointments, and conduct recall outreach. Present treatment fees, collect fee-for-service payments, and issue receipts during check-out. Maintain organized digital patient charts and records. Qualifications Certifications: NYS Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license OR active DANB CDA preferred. Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with an intraoral scanner (specifically Medit) is strongly preferred. Experience: 1 to 2+ years of experience in a dental office. Front desk or administrative experience is a strong plus. Personal Attributes: High energy, strong multi-tasker, excellent patient communication skills, and a tech-savvy mindset.
