Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive dental and endodontic assessments, including patient history review, clinical examination, and diagnostic imaging to identify root canal infections or other endodontic issues. Perform root canal treatments, retreatments, apicoectomies, and other advanced endodontic procedures with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques. Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to develop integrated treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Maintain detailed medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare standards. Educate patients on their diagnosis, treatment options, post-procedure care, and oral health maintenance strategies. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe clinical environment. Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and treatment planning efficiently. Requirements Valid state licensure as a licensed Endodontist with current certification to practice dentistry in the state. Proven experience in performing root canal therapy, endodontic surgeries, and related procedures within a busy dental clinic setting. Proficiency with dental imaging technology and understanding of dental anatomy for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and compassionately. Ability to work efficiently using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize patient comfort and clinical productivity. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implantology is a plus for comprehensive patient care.
