Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols. Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis. Maintain accurate medical records, including patient history and treatment plans. Monitor and record vital signs of patients prior to procedures. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Utilize 3D scanners for dental impressions when necessary. Support pediatric dentistry practices by providing compassionate care to younger patients. Implement medical coding for insurance purposes as required. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience. Skills Proficiency in dental clinic operations and procedures. Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and recording techniques. Familiarity with medical records management systems. Experience with X-ray technology and safety protocols. Understanding of medical coding practices related to dentistry. Ability to operate 3D scanners effectively for patient diagnostics. Strong grasp of medical terminology relevant to dental care. Experience or interest in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
