Overview A reputable dental office is seeking an experienced dental assistant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic dental practice and contribute to the oral health of their patients. Hours- Monday through Wednesday: 8:30am - 4:30pm Thursday & Friday: 9am-3pm Pay- $19/hr Must be willing to do a working interview Benefits after 1 year : 1-week paid time off 3% match on a SIMPLE IRA Free dental for employee and immediate family (lab fees not included) Responsibilities Maintain patient records using Dentrix and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and treatment outcomes Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Take and develop dental x-rays Qualifications Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend software X-Ray Certification Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology is essential. Must be able to chart Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care.
