Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Endodontist to join our dynamic dental team. As an Endodontist, you will be responsible for diagnosing complex dental issues, performing precise endodontic treatments, and collaborating with general dentists and specialists to ensure optimal oral health outcomes. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose endodontic conditions accurately using medical imaging and dental terminology. Perform root canal therapies, including retreatments, apicoectomies, and other advanced endodontic procedures with precision and aseptic technique. Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to develop integrated treatment plans that address complex cases involving dental implants, oral surgery, or prosthodontics. Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare standards. Utilize dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, billing, and patient data management. Educate patients about their diagnosis, treatment options, and post-procedure care to ensure understanding and comfort. Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and sterilization procedures to safeguard patient health. Stay current with advancements in endodontics through continuing education and professional development activities. Requirements Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure to practice dentistry with specialization in Endodontics. Proven experience in performing root canal therapy and other endodontic procedures within a dental clinic setting. Proficiency with dental imaging techniques such as digital X-rays and cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). Familiarity with dental practice management software including Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and healthcare diagnosis protocols. Excellent client communication skills to effectively explain procedures and address patient concerns. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, implantology, oral surgery, and general dentistry is advantageous but not mandatory.
