The Role As our Dental Assistant, you are the clinical heartbeat of our Dental office. You will be the Doctorâs right hand, ensuring that our clinical workflows are seamless and our patients feel completely at ease in the chair. We are looking for an experienced assistant who knows their way around an operatory but remains eager to learn new techniques and grow alongside our practice. What Youâll Do: Drive Clinical Workflows: Ensure appointments run smoothly from start to finish, keeping the schedule on track while never making a patient feel rushed. Provide Chairside Support: Deliver proactive, seamless four-handed dentistry during a variety of procedures. Equipment Mastery & Sterilization: Meticulously prep, sterilize, and maintain all clinical instruments, ensuring handpieces, dental burs, and ultrasonic scalers are always ready and in peak condition. Capture Imaging: Take high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays), intramural scanning and intraoral photos quickly and comfortably. Patient Care & Education: Be a calming presence for anxious patients, explain post-operative instructions clearly, and ensure everyone leaves with a smile. Digital Charting: Utilize our practice management software to accurately chart treatments and update patient records. What Weâre Looking For: Experience: Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is highly preferred, along with active CPR certification and state-required X-ray/RDA licensing. Software Skills: Experience charting in Open Dental is a huge plus! However, if you have a great attitude and experience with other dental software, we are fully willing to train you.
