Dental Assistant - Shore Dental Partners - Englewood, FL

Tarpon Shores Dental is a small, well established general dental office located in beautiful Englewood, Florida. The practice is part of a small emerging Dental Service Organization called Shore Dental Partners. We are currently looking for a full-time (4 days per week) Dental Assistant. The ideal candidate can be a recent graduate from an accredited Dental Assisting School or someone with 1-3 years of DA experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: Clean and prepare operatory rooms. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies and equipment. Assist with hygiene, as needed. Take dental radiographs (if licensed). Take patient medical history, blood pressure and pulses. Serve as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocols and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment. Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment. Enter patient information into charting system. Hande reception/seating/and dismissal of patients.
