Private Dental Practice in Sarasota seeking a skilled Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team. Ideally we are looking for someone for Mondays & Thursdays 8:30 to 5:00 pm . We schedule an hour lunch break from 12:30 to 1:30pm . Previous knowledge of Patterson Eaglesoft software is a plus. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a small practice that focuses on quality over quantity. Job Duties: Set up and breakdown rooms Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Fabricate Temporary Crowns and Bridges Prepare patients for dental work Take and dental x-rays (digital imaging) Ensure appropriate medical records, documentation, and coding are accurately maintained (chart notes, medical history updates) Educate patients on oral healthcare Sterilize and maintain dental instruments Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures ***Candidate must have two years working experience chairside and have the ability to make temporary crowns.*** *** Hourly Pay is based on experience and will be reviewed during the interview*** Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Experience: Dental assisting: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
