Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients mostly 13 and older, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Confidence in endo, surgical extractions and treating emergency patients encouraged but not required. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your clinical skills while adhering to the highest standards of infection control, medical documentation, and patient safety. Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics and oral surgery Conduct thorough patient assessments using dental terminology and medical terminology to diagnose oral health issues accurately. Utilize dental imaging technology and anatomy knowledge to support precise diagnosis and treatment planning. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols in all clinical procedures to ensure patient safety. Develop personalized treatment plans based on healthcare diagnosis and patient needs while explaining procedures clearly to clients. Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Collaborate with team members using dental office experience software (we use Curve Hero) for scheduling, billing, and record management. Communicate effectively with patients about their treatment options and post-treatment care instructions. Requirements Valid state dental license with current certification as a licensed General Dentist. Proven experience in restorative dentistry with preferred proficiency in endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, medical imaging, and anatomy relevant to dentistry. Ability to perform dental procedures including root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics fabrication, orthodontic adjustments, and oral surgeries confidently. Commitment to infection control practices following HIPAA guidelines and state healthcare regulations. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients about their oral health effectively. Experience working within a busy dental clinic environment with a focus on patient care excellence. Knowledge of healthcare diagnosis processes related to dentistry for accurate treatment planning.
