Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery. Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose dental conditions accurately using dental terminology and medical imaging techniques. Develop personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive healthcare diagnosis and patient needs while adhering to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws. Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for documentation, scheduling, and medical records management. Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Communicate clearly with patients about treatment options, procedures, and post-care instructions to foster trust and understanding. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow through four-handed dentistry techniques and dental fabrication processes. Skills Proficiency in general dentistry procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental implants, endodontics, and oral surgery. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards. Experience with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly preferred. Ability to perform pediatric dentistry procedures with sensitivity towards young patientsâ needs. Excellent client communication skills to educate patients effectively about their oral health and treatment options. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and state healthcare regulations governing medical documentation and medical records management. Demonstrated expertise in infection prevention practices and aseptic techniques within a clinical setting.
