Dental Assistant â Front Desk & Chairside | Healthy Roots Endodontics Healthy Roots Endodontics is a new, modern specialty practice opening in Prineville, Oregon. We're hiring a dental assistant who can do it all â from greeting patients and managing the schedule up front to assisting chairside during procedures. We're looking for a hardworking, reliable, and genuinely warm team member to help us build a practice centered on excellent patient care, strong relationships, and a healthy work environment. About the Practice Healthy Roots Endodontics is a specialty dental practice focused on root canal treatment, endodontic retreatment, diagnosis, and endodontic microsurgery. Our goal is simple: provide exceptional care, treat people well, and create a calm, professional experience for patients who are often in pain or anxious. We value warmth, kindness, attention to detail, teamwork, and a willingness to learn. Endodontic experience is helpful but not required for the right person. The Role We're hiring one team member capable of running the front desk and assisting chairside â a true hybrid role. You'll answer phones, schedule patients, and help manage the front office, as well as support the doctor directly during endodontic procedures. Training on our systems will be provided. Responsibilities Front Desk & Scheduling Answering phones and warmly greeting patients Scheduling, confirming, and coordinating patient appointments Managing patient records and basic insurance/billing tasks Creating a welcoming first impression for every patient who walks in Chairside Clinical Assisting Assisting during endodontic procedures, including root canals, retreatments, exams, and microsurgery Taking digital radiographs and CBCT scans as needed Preparing operatories before and after treatment Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control protocols Reviewing medical histories and helping patients feel comfortable Charting and documentation support Managing clinical supplies and helping keep systems organized Supporting a calm, professional, and efficient patient experience Ideal Candidate Warm, kind, professional, dependable, and punctual Comfortable managing both front-desk and clinical responsibilities Detail-oriented and organized Calm and reassuring with patients A strong communicator and team player Interested in being part of a growing specialty practice A positive attitude matters most. Dental assisting experience is required, but prior endodontic and front-desk experience are both a plus, not a must. We're happy to train the right person who brings genuine warmth, a strong work ethic, and a team-first mindset.
