Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using dental terminology and medical imaging techniques. Develop personalized treatment plans addressing dental diagnosis, prosthodontics, orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry needs. Conduct dental procedures such as restorations, root canal therapy, dental extractions, implants, and other surgical interventions following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Utilize practice management software like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix to document medical records accurately in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-procedure care, ensuring client understanding and comfort. Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow efficiency and patient experience. Maintain a clean, sterile environment adhering to infection control standards while managing dental fabrication processes when necessary. Experience Proven experience in general dentistry within a busy dental clinic or office setting with a focus on patient care excellence. Demonstrated proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge related to oral structures, and healthcare diagnosis procedures. Hands-on experience performing dental procedures including root canals, extractions, implants, orthodontic treatments, and pediatric dentistry. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and medical documentation standards aligned with HIPAA regulations. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations while maintaining professionalism and empathy. Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes infection control, aseptic technique, and client communication is highly preferred.
