Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque, calculus, and stains. Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and evaluating oral health status. Educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote lifelong oral health. Capture high-quality dental radiographs using dental imaging equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards. Work closely with our doctors and clinical team to keep the schedule running smoothly while delivering outstanding patient care. Help create a fun, welcoming, and positive experience for every child who walks through our doors. What We're Looking For Active North Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist license. Current CPR certification or obtain prior to start date. Excellent communication and patient education skills. Dependable, motivated, and team-oriented. Pediatric experience is a plus but not required! We're happy to train the right person!
