Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Broomfield, CO

Responsibilities Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) ensuring accuracy and patient comfort. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems Follow OSHA protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization of dental equipment. Monitor patient comfort throughout procedures and provide compassionate care tailored to pediatric dentistry when applicable. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless workflow using four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency.
