Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Denver, CO

Overview We are seeking a new Hygienist that is skilled, friendly, helpful to the team, and dependable! Our office is an established private practice located in North Denver, off highway 36 and Pecos St. We are inside the PIMA Medical center where various types of assistants are trained. We have a comfortable office with amazing views of the Rocky Mountains. The previous doctor recently sold the office and was in this location for 40 years. Many of our patients have been coming here for 10, 20, and even 30+ years! A new doctor has purchased the practice and is maintaining the independent owner vibe, no DSO or private equity influence. Our goal is to continue to expand and improve our services to patients; offering digital dentistry and state of the art equipment. We are a close knit team that focuses on quality care and treating each patient as if they were family. We would like to find a permanent hygienist for a part time position, 2 days a week either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Wednesday. You will have clinical autonomy with room to grow. Compensation: $60-65/hr depending on experience Paid holidays PTO (Sick days or vacation) Health benefits 401k with 3.5% match Come join us! Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to tailor care plans effectively. Co diagnose with the doctor Take X-rays while ensuring proper infection control and aseptic techniques are maintained. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, dental terminology, and treatment options to foster informed decision-making. Maintain accurate dental records using Softdent (we will get you up to speed quick) Set up your own operatory and run instruments through sterilization Experience We welcome new grads or more experienced practitioners, and will compensate based on experience level/speed Knowledge of general dentistry conditions and procedures, the more the better Some familiarity with dental assisting techniques, dental coding, and documentation Strong understanding of infection control standards, and HIPAA regulations ensures safe and compliant practice.
