Manage medical imaging tasks, ensuring accurate capture of diagnostic images. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling patient records and sensitive information. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe clinical environment. Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care in general dentistry settings. Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical coding practices. Skills Strong understanding of dental assisting practices and chairside assisting techniques. Ability to effectively communicate with patients regarding their treatment plans and oral health needs. Knowledge of infection control procedures to maintain a sterile working environment. Familiarity with dental terminology related to dental practices is essential. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
