We are looking for a Dental Hygienist who is clinically excellent, genuinely warm, and passionate about helping patients actually understand and invest in their oral health. This person should be a confident communicator, a trusted patient advocate, and someone who elevates the entire team around them. Schedule 2–3 days per week No evenings No weekends Shifts typically begin at 6:30am with first patients arriving at 7:00am What You'll Do Provide thorough, personalized hygiene appointments including prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and supportive perio maintenance Perform comprehensive periodontal assessments, charting, and documentation with clinical precision Take and interpret diagnostic records including X-rays, intraoral photos, and other imaging as needed Educate patients in a way that actually connects—no lecturing, just real conversations that motivate change Identify clinical concerns and co-diagnose with the doctor to support comprehensive treatment planning Deliver fluoride, sealants, desensitizing treatments, and other preventive therapies as indicated Maintain accurate, timely charting and ensure seamless handoffs to the clinical and business teams Contribute to a warm, organized, high-performing hygiene department What We're Looking For Active Illinois RDH license in good standing Experience in a general or multi-specialty practice preferred Strong periodontal instincts—comfortable identifying and presenting perio needs honestly Excellent communicator who can connect with patients of all ages and backgrounds Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage a full schedule with efficiency and care Team-first mindset with a coachable attitude and desire to grow alongside the practice Someone who takes pride in delivering a "wow" experience at every single appointment Why You'll Love Working Here A supportive, growth-minded team culture Modern technology and high clinical standards, including an in-house periodontist A practice that values people—patients and team members alike A place where your role truly matters and your effort is recognized Job Type: Part-time Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Retirement plan License/Certification: Illinois Registered Dental Hygienist License (Required) Work Location: In person
