Expanded Functions Dental Assistant - Kids Dental Center - Cleveland, TN

Expanded Functions Dental Assistants duties are, but are not limited to, greeting and seating patients, reviewing medical history, preparing patient for dental procedures, performing prophylaxis, operating dental x-ray equipment to capture images of teeth, educating patients on proper oral hygiene and care after dental procedures, chairside assisting, patient charting. The following certifications are preferred: Radiology Coronal Polishing Nitrous Monitoring Sealants Certification Restorative Function Certification This is a very fast paced, pediatric dental office. Summary As an Expanded Function Dental Assistant, you will be integral to providing high-quality patient care in a dental practice. Reporting to the dentist, your role involves chairside assisting, utilizing dental terminology, and applying aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment.
