Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Sherman, TX
Texoma Pediatric Dentistry is opening soon, and we're looking for an experienced Front Office Coordinator to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to help build a brand-new pediatric dental practice from the ground up. We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and passionate about providing exceptional customer service to children and their families. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of dental front office experience preferred Experience with PPO and Medicaid insurance required Strong understanding of dental insurance verification, benefits, and claims Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Professional, dependable, and self-motivated Positive attitude with a passion for helping patients Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Responsibilities Welcome patients and families with exceptional customer service Answer and manage incoming phone calls Schedule and coordinate patient appointments efficiently Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorizations as needed Explain treatment estimates and patient financial responsibilities Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims Manage patient accounts and collections Maintain accurate patient records Respond to emails, faxes, and other office correspondence Help maintain an organized and efficient front office Work closely with the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient experience What We Offer Full-time position (approximately 32 hours/week) Competitive hourly pay ($16-22/hour, based on experience and qualifications) Paid Time Off Paid holidays Continuing education opportunities Supportive, positive team environment Opportunity for professional growth, including future leadership and office manager responsibilities If you're an experienced dental front office professional who enjoys working with children and wants to help build something special from the very beginning, we'd love to hear from you!
