Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Cedar Rapids, IA
Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Responsibilities (include but not limited to): Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments Take dental X-rays Perform digital intraoral scans Perform various office tasks as necessary Collaborate with practice team to ensure the best patient experience Qualifications: Prior training/schooling as a dental assistant Meet state requirements for DA duties, continuing education, or licensure Punctual and reliable Good listener, communication skills with patients Good computer skills Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail We offer competitive pay based on experience.
