Duties Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatrics. Perform vital signs monitoring and medical imaging as required. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits. Apply aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and patient safety during all procedures. Collaborate with the dental team to provide chairside assistance and support during treatments. Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical coding practices relevant to patient care. Experience Candidates should possess a strong background in dental office or clinic experience, with familiarity in using EMR systems such as Dentrix being highly desirable. Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus, along with skills in patient assessment, documentation review, and infection control protocols.
