About us Scharfenberger Family Dentistry, P.S.C. Privately owed small business in Louisville, KY. This practice is a well established business who has been serving the community of J-town since 1965. We are looking for a Dental Hygienist who would help move our Hygiene Department forward. Our work environment includes: Modern office setting New hygiene chairs as well as other equipment Duties: - Perform dental cleanings and oral hygiene treatments for patients - Take digital dental x-rays (CBCT scan) - Conduct oral health assessments and screenings - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care - Assist the dentist during exams - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix. - Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment Experience: - Minimum of [1] years of experience as a dental hygienist - Proficiency in using Dentrix, or similar dental software systems - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
