Orthodontic Specialties, Rockford IL, is looking to add an experienced Orthodontic Assistant to our team full time. We are seeking an energetic person with a positive attitude who can work independently and who will promote a positive patient experience. - Experience of at least one year in chair-side orthodontic assisting. Job duties for Orthodontic Assistant include: -Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain the schedule and patient flow. -Provide exceptional customer service, with an excellent chair-side manner -Have the ability to learn computer software quickly -Assisting the doctor with bonding and de-bonding procedures - Fitting orthodontic bands and orthodontic appliances, arch wire changes and going over instructions and oral hygiene with patients. -Knowledge of instruments and terminology -Be able to work flexible hours (some Fridays ) -Taking quality orthodontic photos, panoramic and cephalometric x-rays -Taking and pouring up of impressions -Digital scans of teeth A working interview will be required.
