Experienced Dental Assistant | $20–$23/Hour | Four-Day Workweek Verity Dental & Implant Center Sugar House, Salt Lake City, Utah Verity Dental & Implant Center is looking for an experienced dental assistant to join our growing team. We are a modern, privately owned, patient-focused practice providing comprehensive dentistry, including restorative care, crowns, implants, oral surgery, root canals, cosmetic dentistry, and full-arch implant treatment. Schedule Mondays & Wednesdays: 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Tuesdays & Thursdays: 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Fridays Off Three-Day Weekend Every Week Pay: $20–$23 per hour, depending on experience. Primary Responsibilities Take clear, accurate, diagnostic-quality digital X-rays, including bitewings, periapicals, full-mouth series, and panoramic images Provide efficient four-handed chairside assistance Prepare patients, operatories, instruments, and materials for treatment Assist with fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, extractions, implants, oral surgery, and other general dental procedures Fabricate quality temporary crowns Take digital impressions and intraoral scans Complete accurate dental charting and clinical documentation Review postoperative instructions with patients Follow sterilization and infection-control protocols Keep operatories organized, clean, and fully stocked Anticipate the doctor's needs to help the clinical schedule run efficiently Help patients feel comfortable, respected, and informed throughout their visit What We're Looking For At least one year of professional dental assisting experience Confidence taking high-quality dental X-rays Strong chairside assisting and communication skills Experience making temporary crowns and taking digital scans Dentrix experience is preferred but not required Dependable, punctual, organized, and proactive Comfortable working in a busy clinical environment Positive attitude with a willingness to support the entire team Someone who accepts feedback, wants to grow professionally, and takes pride in doing things the right way Our Core Values Be Patient Obsessed We consistently look for ways to make each patient's experience better.
