We are seeking a kind, compassionate, and skilled health care professional to add to our team at Family Dentistry. Our Doctors value the opinion of our hygiene colleagues, therefore, this position is for a candidate that wants to work in a collaborative environment to provide the best comprehensive patient care. We schedule 1 hour prophylaxis appointments and 1 and 1/2 hour new patient appointments to provide efficient but not rushed care. Check out our website at www.profamilydentistry.com. Clinical hours are 7:45AM-5PM Monday thru Thursday (with 1-hour lunches) and 7:45AM-12PM on Fridays. We are happy to discuss a schedule that works for you if you're interested in part-time work. Your starting rate will vary based on experience and skillset, but there will be opportunities for performance-based pay increases. Employees are hired on a 90-day probationary period, after which we will reassess wages and responsibilities based on performance and aptitude. Full-time employees are eligible for health insurance on their 91st day. Full-time employees become eligible for our 401(k) plan after 1 year of employment. Responsibilities Welcome patients in the dental office Clean the patients teeth based on efficacy and patient preference, either with an ultrasonic or by manual hand scaling Take digital X-Rays, including Bitewings, Periapicals, and CBCT 3Ds/PANOs Educate patients on how to maintain good oral health, including brushing, flossing, & nutrition Sterilize instruments according to regulations Keep the operatories clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures Skills Proven experience as dental hygienist (1 year experience preferred) RDH license required Understanding of health & safety regulations Nitrous/local anesthetic certification preferred Good computer skills (EagleSoft and YAPI experience a plus) Excellent communication and people skills, both verbal and written Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable Work Remotely No Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Education: Associate (Required) Experience: Dental Hygiene: 1 year (Required) Language: English (Required) Spanish (Preferred) American Sign Language (Preferred) License/Certification: RDH accreditation (Required) Work Location: In person
