Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Beverly Hills, CA

S&C Dental Beverly Hills is looking for an experienced Dental Front Office Coordinator with a minimum of 5 years of dental front office experience. This is not an entry-level position. We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and personable individual with a proven background in treatment planning, dental insurance, and patient financial coordination. Proficiency with Open Dental is required.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of dental front office experience

Proficiency with Open Dental is required

Extensive experience presenting treatment plans and increasing case acceptance

Strong understanding of dental insurance verification, benefit breakdowns, claims, and pre-authorizations

Confident discussing financial arrangements and payment options

Excellent communication, customer service, and phone skills

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Professional appearance, positive attitude, and exceptional attention to detail
Responsibilities

Present treatment plans with confidence and educate patients on the value of their care

Help patients move forward with treatment by addressing questions, overcoming objections, and coordinating financial arrangements

Verify insurance benefits and accurately estimate patient portions

Submit insurance claims, track outstanding claims, and follow up on unpaid balances

Answer phones, schedule appointments, and optimize the daily schedule

Collect payments and maintain accurate financial records

Ensure an exceptional patient experience from the first phone call through treatment completion

Work closely with the doctor and clinical team to maximize productivity and patient satisfaction
