Aloha Pediatric Dentistry has proudly cared for Bay Area children and families for over 50 years. As a doctor-owned, fee-for-service pediatric practice, we focus on delivering exceptional patient care while creating a positive, supportive workplace for our team.

We are looking for 1-2 sterilization assistants. This position is ideal for someone who is considering a career as a dental assistant and pre-dental and pre-hygiene students who want experience in a dental office before applying to schools.

• Has excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Turn over (clearing instruments and cleaning the area after a patient's appointment has finished) 
• Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Support efficient clinical operations through teamwork
• Travel between our Berkeley and Orinda offices as needed

As you grow within the practice, opportunities may include:

• Training to become a dental assistant
• Assisting with clinical organization and workflow
• Participating in community outreach and preschool education programs

Qualifications

• must complete a Dental Doard of California certified 8-hour infection control course before your first working day
