Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canal therapy using advanced dental techniques and equipment.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, dental diagnosis, and treatment planning aligned with healthcare diagnosis standards.
• Utilize dental software Dentrix for accurate documentation of medical records and treatment notes in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
• Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols rigorously to ensure patient safety during all procedures.
• Communicate clearly with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions while fostering a welcoming environment.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental terminology, medical imaging techniques, anatomy knowledge, and current best practices in dentistry.

Experience

• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards for accurate recordkeeping.
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques essential for safe clinical practice.
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively while providing compassionate care.
