Pediatric Dental Assistant - Univ of Louisville Dental School - Louisville, KY

This position works as a dental assistant in the Pediatric Dentistry clinic located at the Graduate Pediatric Practice located at 501 S. Preston St . This position will primarily perform chairside dental assisting duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work with the dental providers to deliver customer service oriented and patient centered care within the clinic; Serve as chairside dental assistant to dentists providing four hand dental assisting as needed in patient care; Mix and deliver materials when appropriate; Greet, seat, and schedule patients; Maintain stock of supplies throughout the clinic, and order as needed; Stock, prepare, organize, break down and clean operatories; Sterilize clinic instruments following appropriate infection control procedures; Take radiographs as needed; Provide instruction to dental hygiene and dental students on proper assisting techniques and dental protocol.
