Pediatric Dental Assistant - Univ of Louisville Dental School - Louisville, KY

This position works as a dental assistant in the Pediatric Dentistry clinic located at the Home of the Innocents- 1050 E. Market St. This position will primarily perform chairside dental assisting duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work with the dental providers to deliver customer service oriented and patient centered care within the clinic; Serve as chairside dental assistant to dentists providing four hand dental assisting as needed in patient care; Mix and deliver materials when appropriate; Greet, seat, and schedule patients; Maintain stock of supplies throughout the clinic, and order as needed; Stock, prepare, organize, break down and clean operatories; Sterilize clinic instruments following appropriate infection control procedures; Take radiographs as needed; Provide instruction to dental hygiene and dental students on proper assisting techniques and dental protocol.
