Duties Patient greeting & communication Restorative & surgical chairside assisting Computer data entry (Dentrix) Instrument sterilization Infection control & room turnover Taking digital x-rays (Dexis) and 3D Cone Beam CT (Planmeca) Inventory management Ordering of supplies Intraoral photography Intraoral digital scanning (iTero) & PVS impressions Scheduling appointments Coordinate with the front office team in delivering an exceptional patient experience. Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care to promote optimal outcomes Qualifications High school diploma or GED (Required). Some post-high school education or training (Preferred). Dental Assistant coursework/certificate (Preferred). X-ray Certification (Required). Previous dental office experience (Required). Proven experience as a Dental Assistant, with knowledge of general dentistry procedures (Preferred). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Professional appearance and demeanor. Experience and proficiency with Dentrix practice management system (Preferred). Strong understanding of dental equipment operation, sterilization procedures, and infection control standards. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
