The Djawdan Center for Implant & Restorative Dentistry is looking for a warm, organized, proactive Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. We are a boutique, fee-for-service practice in Annapolis providing implant, restorative, cosmetic, and sedation dentistry. We are not a high-volume, insurance-driven office. Our patients often come to us for complex and life-changing care, and we believe the experience surrounding that care matters just as much as the dentistry itself. Preparation, communication, teamwork, and the patient experience all matter here. What you'll do Responsibilities include: Prepare operatories, instruments, materials, and equipment for scheduled procedures Assist chairside with restorative, implant, surgical, cosmetic, sedation, diagnostic, and follow-up care Review the schedule and prepare proactively for each patient Help create a calm, welcoming, and professional patient experience Anticipate the doctor's needs during procedures Maintain organized, stocked, and prepared treatment rooms Follow sterilization, infection control, and safety protocols Take radiographs, scans, photographs, impressions, and other clinical records as trained and permitted Support restorative and lab-related workflows, including temporaries and case preparation as applicable Communicate clearly with doctors, clinical teammates, administrative team members, and our lab Help identify needs before they become last-minute problems Support teammates and contribute wherever needed throughout the clinical day Experience Dental assisting experience is preferred. Experience with any of the following is a plus: Implant or oral surgery Restorative or cosmetic dentistry Sedation dentistry Prosthodontic-style care Temporaries and restorative procedures Expanded Functions Maryland radiology certification is required as applicable. Most importantly, we are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, willingness to learn, and genuine commitment to excellent patient care. Schedule Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM No weekends Compensation $25–$34 per hour , based on experience, skills, and overall fit.
