Surgical Dental Assistant We are searching for a motivated and team-oriented dental assistant to join our fantastic team at The Tri-State Center For Advanced Implant Dentistry And Periodontics! General duties : Greet, seat & walk-out patients Answer phones, schedule patients, process payments Review consent forms Document patient vitals and dental exam chartings Filing & pulling physical charts Make patient education packs Setup & transition treatment rooms Assist with dental examinations and surgical procedures Patient transport Take diagnostic quality x-rays Remove sutures Give pre-op, post-op, and homecare instructions Organize & sterilize exam kits, hygiene kits, and surgical instruments Setup and clean exam rooms & surgical rooms Perform equipment maintenance & calibration Confirm patient information & medical history updates Check-in lab cases Inventory evaluation/tracking & organization of ordered supplies Pro-actively examine upcoming schedule and communicate with team Supports Office Manager, Financial Coordinator, and Hygienist as needed Additional duties to be assigned to achieve office standards and goals Pay: Based experience, starting at $22 per hour Benefits : Personal time 401k Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Retirement plan Medical Specialty: Surgery Experience: Dental assisting: 3 years (Preferred) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
