Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical history, and dental examinations to identify oral health issues. Digital xrays and Itero scan Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to their needs. Follow infection prevention management protocols infection control standards aligned with HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations. Requirements Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations.
