We are seeking a competent, reliable, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our team for a Saturday-only position. The ideal candidate is well-organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent patient care while helping our dental office operate efficiently and smoothly. Responsibilities Welcome and assist patients in a friendly, professional manner Prepare patients for treatments and checkups, ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials Sterilize instruments according to applicable regulations and infection-control standards Assist the dentist with four-handed dentistry Perform laboratory tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked Schedule appointments and assist with administrative duties Maintain accurate patient records Assist with payment procedures as needed Qualifications & Skills Proven experience as a Dental Assistant Valid Massachusetts Dental Assistant license/credential as required Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization procedures Understanding of health and safety regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Good computer skills Experience with regulated non-surgical duties, such as coronal polishing, is a plus EFDA certification or additional training is an asset Schedule & Compensation Saturday only Up to $29.00 per hour for qualified CDA/EFDA candidates Pay based on experience, qualifications, and certifications If you are a dependable Dental Assistant who takes pride in providing excellent patient care and supporting a smooth, efficient dental office, we would love to hear from you!
